Additions to raw land or buildings such as streets, sewers, interior refurbishments, etc. which tend to enhance its value.

Tip: The tax assessor determines what percentage of the total value of the parcel is due to improvements (non-land). Structures may be depreciated, but land may not. Check with the county tax assessor & your tax professional for the property you are analyzing.
